Guerilla Films Ltd. produces creative, quality documentary films. It was founded in 1999 by Visa Koiso-Kanttila and Iiris Härmä. Visa Koiso-Kanttila and Iiris Härmä both direct and produce documentary films in the company. Guerilla filmmaking (also spelled guerrilla) is a method of unconventional filmmaking by which small group of film makers attempt to use mobile and creative tactics to film people. A Guerilla Filmmaker has a certain attitude. That attitude has to do with freedom, with experimentation, with courage, passion and creativity.

Visa Koiso-Kanttila was born in Finland in 1970. He graduated from The Turku School of Art and Media in 1996 and studied documentary film in The New School University and Film/ Video Art in New York in 2000 – 2001. He is also a co-member of Elephant Films Ltd – The Finnish director’s group. Visa Koiso-Kanttila has won several awards in film festivals. Visa Koiso-Kanttila directs and produces his films in co-operation with his wife and colleague Iiris Härmä.

M.A. Iiris Härmä was born in 1970 in Finland. She studied ethnology and cultural studies at the University of Turku. She has also studied documentary film in The New School University and Film/ Video Art in New York. She has worked as producer and assistant director in several documentary films. TOMORROW’S MEMORIES was her directing debut.
